The Penny Sale
Take a chance on one of the crafter or vendor items at The Penny Sale table. Every crafter must provide a small sample of their wares or a gift certificate for The Penny Sale. Buy your tickets for a small fee at the Penny Sale table. Place tickets in the cans for the items you wish to win and hope for the best. Winning tickets for the Penny Sale are drawn and posted after the Grand Parade at about 3:15 pm. You do not need to be present to win. You will be notified by phone if you are unable to pick up your winning item during Old Home Day.
In the past you could have found jewelry, paintings, woodcrafts, candles, clothing, quilts, pillows, dolls, T-shirts, cosmetics, candy and sand art. You could have found a water filtration company, bank services, a reminder and gift service, children's musical tapes, clubs and civic organizations and more from our crafters and vendors at The Penny Sale table.
