2022 Old Home Day Parade

Pelham Old Home Day Saturday, September 18th!

We are pleased to introduce these gorgeous horses participating in this year’s parade.

Shaina is a Pony of America. She is a 28 year old mare. She loves lots of time with her humans and sweet treats too! She’s done many fun things in her lifetime and being a decorated pony jumper is on the top of her list. She has been a Pelham resident for many years and lives at Rose Hill Farm.

Jewels is a Quarter Horse/Paint. She loves her owner Meag Laurin. They have been best friends for 7 years now. They are both lifelong travelers  and have enjoyed visiting all of New England and the East Coast together. They proudly and humbly call Pelham their home.

Gus is a 16 year old Haflinger Horse with lots of personality.

Gus was adopted by his owner in January when they both needed each other most. Gus had been neglected at his previous home and his new owner was just beginning remission of cancer. Gus and his owner are still learning about each other, but he has been an incredible emotional support horse and friend.

Tiny is a Clydesdale/Hackney mare cross. She is 7 years old. She enjoys doing tricks and loves being rewarded with cookies but a big juicy apple is her favorite treat! In her photo Tiny bows in respect to our fallen service men and women.

Della is a Missouri Fox Trotter. She resides in Pelham with her brother Nate. She loves going for walks on the trails in her neighborhood and her all time favorite treats are apples and carrots.

Nate is a mini horse and lives with his sister Della in Pelham. He loves doing tricks, pulling a cart and going for long walks with Della & his owner.

It takes some special people to care for these amazing horses. We feel blessed that these owners have offered to be a part of our Old Home Day event with their beautiful horses this year. Please be sure to wave as they parade by.
